“Walk in purpose; Work in purpose.”
Last week, my friend randomly messaged me about
Purpose
When I say “glitz and glamour,” I don’t mean fame or status; I’m referring to the community building and resonating responses being received from these blog posts I write. But even without it, my purpose still fuels what I do, regardless of external satisfaction. No matter the amount, my purpose has and still brings fulfillment to others, so how DARE I play that short and diminish my work?!
I have to let go of the perceived notion that society has always given to say I
So even if you don’t know it is for sure, walk in and work in your purpose you believe to have. You never know where it is leading you in life. Press the bounds and work until it becomes clear; if you are prayerful, pray for your purpose until you receive its confirmation.
Three Points to Work in My Purpose + Next Level
Know that breathing is your sign to keep it moving
Every day you wake is something to be grateful for. By no means, I am the type of person who wakes up smiling, happy, and ready for the day, but I should be. Instead of worrying about what I need to be accomplish for the day, I am creating a morning routine where I eliminate social media until work, practice gratitude, read a devotional, journal, stretch, and intentionally and mentally prepare for the day. It works better this way!
Get you some discipline!
Discipline is literally changing my life in every area, with biggest improvement seen with my skin. From drinking more water, washing my face morning + night, and creating a skin care routine, I have seen a significance difference and I love it. Discipline will mature and elevate you to where you need to be in your journey. Get you some – I promise it won’t disappoint.
Affirm what’s already inside to continue building the elevated you!
I’ve seriously been getting into more affirmations and not just because it’s the current craze. Affirmations really put you in a positive mindset, allows you to know and create opportunities to accomplish.
My favorite from this week is: “Today, I choose to abandon old habits and take up new, more positive ones.” Because I literally needed to reel back & change my thoughts and without fault, I did with the help in believing in what I said.
Expect more from yourself EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Move the boundaries without criticizing yourself too much – failure is the lesson in learning.
