I cannot believe that 2014 is almost over, but I’m more than excited for 2015. This year – filled with successes, failures, leadership roles, self-empowerment, and just love – revealed my true potential.
There is so much that I want to accomplish within the new year. Winter break allowed me to pause from my busy school life, sit down and reflect on what I actually want for myself in 2015.
With so many visions and goals, I started reflecting on exactly what I want to accomplish within my personal, school, blog, and relationship lives. Here are some of my New Year’s resolutions:
Relationships
Closer relationships with God, family, friends, and boyfriend are my expectations for the upcoming year. These are constant goals and expectations I hold for myself daily, but I’m pushing myself even harder. I would not be the person I am without these aspects.
School
Whoo, I graduate in December 2015! I could not be more excited. I know I will miss undergrad experiences, but I am ready to search and begin preparing for my big girl life.
Blog
Three posts a week. Fly design with sidebars full of information. Good following and comments. This is what I thought I wanted for my blog. Researching other blogs while creating mine clouded my original vision, but that will all change this year.
Promises I can make for the blog are more genuine and relatable posts, monthly newsletters (archived on the website), more social media engagement about the blog and personal ventures with consistent monthly posting.
I neglected the blog when my school schedule wore me out, but it is something I want to get back to.
Life
Budgeting, saving, and organization are three things that are growing in importance for this new year. I love to shop, but who doesn’t? I’m slowly getting out of the habit of buying every time I go to the mall. Budgeting every dime of my paychecks and savings will allow me to spend and save for important things.
Now for the organizational side, I switch up how I do things very often. One week I have everything under control, and it is a total mess after a week. Now I want to find a system that will work and stick for me. I’m hopeful that with two planners, a vision board, and weekly goals will navigate me through.
With those and many more resolutions, I’m so READY for 2015! Thank you to ALL of my readers, whether it’s been one post or all. Thank you! I want to know where do you see your life going in 2015? Leave your comments below. I would love to hear them.
Snuggle up for the ride The Moxie Playbook will have within the upcoming year. I want the blog to be better and more interesting for our readers.
