My friend introduced me to the #SheHeals journal challenge. Created by Mellie King, a fellow blogger, this challenge focused on bringing healing and self-love during the month of August. Every day included a prompt to reflect and write to help heal, strengthen, and bring wholeness.
Overall, this journal challenge has been very helpful and eye-opening. It made me think deeply about myself in ways I haven't in a long time or scared to even think about. Though I didn't consistently journal every night, I am definitely learned more about myself, vulnerability levels, and where I want to go from here.
I decided to keep my journaling prompts private, but I did want to share what being vulnerable means to me. It means to be open, honest, ready, receptive, objective, and mentally stable to hear constructive criticism to make that person a better individual. So I use my vulnerability in my life with my family, friends, relationships, and sometimes on this blog.
Take time to learn about yourself. Fancy journal prompts aren't necessarily - just figure out what you want to learn about yourself and figure it out. All it takes is time set aside, a journal, pen, and an open mind.
