As children, we all have dreams of what jobs we want as when we get older. First my goals consisted of being a doctor, a teacher, and a professional runway model - yes, America's Next Top Model influenced me & I still watch it today. As we grow older, we see the realities of our past dreams & make changes to fit our current aspirations. Time + life changes us.
But what if time, life + money were no objects, what would your dreams be? Here are my top three:
1. Experiencing the World
While planning to study abroad to London next year (post coming soon after furthering through the planning stages), I would love to travel more throughout Europe. Fashion has always appealed to me as I child, and that is why I want to visit Milan. As one of the world's fashion capitals, I would absolutely fall head over heels with seeing their various fashions.
2. Fashion + Employment = PASSION
If you guys do not know by now, I LOVE fashion. It is so interesting seeing different trends, styles + how people pair elements together as outfits. So working in this niche for a company or a public relations agency would absolutely be more fun than work. My ideal companies are Forever 21, Victoria Secret PINK, Gucci, or a beauty companies. With pursuing a minor in Applied Statistics, I want employment finding fashion trends + conducting PR.
3. So You Want to Dance?
If I could quit everything + become a professional ballet / contemporary dancer, I would in a heartbeat. I enjoy all types of dance; modern, ballet, and contemporary being my favorites. So You Think You Can Dance pushes my inner dance out in front of the television every Wednesday night as I live happily through each dancer.
Though this last dream is a fantasy I live through others, I still have time to make the first two realities come true. I will do everything in my power to make them realities, and not just dreams.
What are your top three dreams / goals? How will you strive to make them realities?
