Between Pinterest and receiving dozens of retail emails, shopping is constantly on my mind. I'm always looking for new styles and ways to stay warm, look cute, and avoid going broke. Recently I found a website and app to help craft dream fashion ideas:
website. After signing up, just use the hashtag, #liketkit, and your customized link. Once you start liking pictures, you'll receive emails on where to get those items. A Dash of Details also provides information on this great tool.
This iPhone app allows users to take, save, and share outfits of the day. Cloth uses the weather to help the user classify when to wear that type of outfit. Another aspect is seeing what others are wearing, in any city. I just downloaded the app, but here's a test screenshot. Cloth is an available app on iPhone devices.
Have you heard or used these apps before? If not, what apps do you use? Let me know below, or on Twitter - @JailynGlass.
I'm always finding new information, blogs, pictures, and content to share with you all. This post is dedicated to links + pictures I've found helpful and enjoyed.
I've been so happy with the news of Blake Lively's pregnancy. Even though I'm still sad about finishing the Gossip Girl series over a month ago, I still love and see her as Serena van der Woodsen. She looks radiantly happy in the photos she released and paparazzi shots. Here are some of my favorites below.

I attended Grand Rapid's Power Weekend's Fashion Show on Saturday with my friend, Bre. She was asked to be one of the photographers of the event, therefore I was able to experience the backstage action. Local boutiques featured their clothes in the show; vendors showcased their products in a room nearby.
I knew about this event for a few weeks, but threw my outfit together within hours of having to be there. Below I recreated the outfit using one of my favorite sites, Polyvore. This simple, but stylish look can be wore in different ways.
Included in the outfit are all the components needed for a great outfit, such as jewelry and accessories. Check it out + I hope you enjoy!

Lately I have been obsessed with make-up. It's been all around me. Movies, TV shows (binging on Gossip Girl at the moment), and YouTube videos. I have always wanted to wear make-up without having the extra make-up caked look. With these products, I have almost created the perfect natural finish look for everyday.
Here's a haul slideshow of the products I have purchase within the past month, (ALL of these thoughts are my own + this is a non-sponsored post):
What are some of your favorite make-up products? Let me know your answers, questions, or concerns on Twitter, @JailynGlass.
I never leave out the house without a purse. Today was no exception with having my first jury duty summons. I was not happy about missing work, but I made the most out of the situation. I prepared myself for a long day ahead with my new Mia Ray #GlamTote. Here is what I packed to relieve today's boredom.
1. #GIRLBOSS - I've been waiting to read this book since it came out. My mom surprised me with a copy last night when I got home. This book will start my goal of increasing the number of book I read outside of academic textbooks. I cannot wait to get started + get inspired.
2. iPad + iPhone - These items are everyday essentials. I use them every time I'm on the go.
3. Notebook + pen - I take a notebook around to make lists - to-do lists, goals, ideas. I'm such a list person that crosses out, makes scribbles, and check off done items.
4. Wallet - Some days I do need to leave my wallet, but cannot leave without it.
5. Sunglasses - I consider sunglasses my summertime headband. I get sad if I leave them.
6. Lip care (balm + stick) - I need a variety of lip care to avoid having a dry lip.
7. Perfume spray - I love carrying spray to add a fresh, fruity smell throughout the day.
8. Peppermints (added bonus) - I found a new favorite, Lifesavers Orange flavored mints, at work. They are the BOMB. There are always two at the bottom of my purses.
I was in + out the court building within two hours and was not called to duty. Though I had enough to do, I only prepped this post. Everything else not covered will be on this weekend's to-list.
What do you pack in your bag to avoid being bored? I would love to hearing your answers through tweets, @JailynGlass, and comments.
Summer is sadly starting to wind down. It has been all work + no play for me; but when I do get a chance to go out, I am wearing one of my favorite fashion picks, a maxi skirt. Maxi skirts are fun, easy to wear + pair.
Maxi skirts come in all different fashions, solids, stripes, prints, high-low and much more. They can easily pair with a cami or crop top for warmer day. Then a simple t-shirt, or even caridgan, for an cooler evening. Throw on flip-flops or cute sandals and the outfit is quickly finished. I love this item because you can look great without deep thought or doubt; simplicity is at its finest.
Most of my skirts are from Forever 21. Though their in-store collection of maxi skirts were very low this year, I still have managed to find some great ones. Meijer (yes, the local grocery store), Charlotte Russe, and Forever 21 are where I bought my skirts.
Here's a graphic I created using Polyvore. On the left is an outfit I created + on the right is an outfit I found. The descriptions of each item are below.
